Homestand Highlights: April 16 - April 21

Northwest Arkansas Naturals News Release


The Naturals return to Arvest Ballpark tomorrow night to begin a six (6) game homestand to open the 2015 home campaign. The homestand will consist of three (3) games against the Midland RockHounds, the Double-A Oakland Athletics, and then three (3) games against the Frisco RoughRiders, the Double-A Texas Rangers. The first homestand features two (2) Fireworks Spectaculars, two (2) giveaways, and our first Kids Eat FREE Family Sunday, Monday Night Lights, and SWEPCO School Kids Day of the 2015 season. Opening Night on Thursday, April 16 will officially begin Season 8 of play at Arvest Ballpark.

Thursday, April 16 - Naturals vs. Midland RockHounds, 6:05 P.M. (Gates open at 5 P.M.)

- Opening Night at Arvest Ballpark presented by AR Saves Strike Out Stroke & ICM

- Post-Game Fireworks Spectacular - A special Opening Night Fireworks Spectacular follows the game.

- Magnet Schedule Giveaway - The first 5,000 fans will receive a commemorative magnet schedule

- Opening Night Pre-Game Ceremonies:

o Naturals Hall of Fame Ceremony - The Naturals will induct the 3rd member into the Naturals Hall of Fame. Nominees include 1B Eric Hosmer, 1B Kila Ka'aihue, 3B Mike Moustakas, and C Salvador Perez.

o 5-Year Anniversary of the 2010 Texas League Championship - The 2015 season marks the 5-year anniversary of the Naturals Texas League Championship. A video tribute will be shown on the videoboard prior to the game.

o Special Ceremony Commemorating the Royals American League Championship

o Helicopter courtesy of AR Saves Strike Out Stroke delivering the Game Ball

o Special Guests include Kansas City Royals' owner David Glass & Springdale Mayor Doug Sprouse

o Special Entrances by Strike the Sasquatch and Sinker the Lake Creature

- Buck Night - The first Buck Night of the 2015 season features select Items for $1 at the Arvest Ballpark Concession Stands including: Farm Rich Mozzarella Sticks & Peanuts.

- Thirsty Thursday - Thirsty Thursday features Miller High Life 16oz. drafts for only $2 at specific locations along the concourse & $1 small Coca-Cola fountain drinks from the concessions stands.

- Media Partners for Opening Night are KIX 104, Magic 107.9, 93.3 The Eagle, and Hot Mix 101.9

Friday, April 17 - Naturals vs. Midland RockHounds, 7:05 P.M. (Gates open at 6 P.M.)

- #TheNatural13 Post-Game Fireworks Spectacular presented by Farm Rich

- #TheNatural13 - We celebrate the former Naturals that contributed to the Royals playoff run last season with a video tribute, stats, and photos from last year. #TheNatural13 represents the number of former Naturals on the playoff roster.

- Post-Game Fireworks Spectacular - A spectacular fireworks show after every Friday home game

- Scout Night Campout - The Scout Night Campout is presented by Camping World of Northwest Arkansas. Scout groups from throughout Northwest Arkansas can get a discounted ticket, enjoy a post-game movie on the videoboard following the game, and have the opportunity to campout on the Outfield grass at Arvest Ballpark.

- Cape Cod Chips Exit Sampling for fans

- Media Partners are the Arkansas CW and KIX 104

Saturday, April 18 - Naturals vs. Midland RockHounds, 6:05 P.M. (Gates open at 5 P.M.)

- Arvest Ballpark Calendar Giveaway presented by Arvest Bank

- Arvest Ballpark Calendar Giveaway - The first 2,500 fans in attendance will receive an Arvest Bank Ballpark Calendar. The calendar features photos of the ballpark as well as players from the 2014 season.

- Burt's Bees Exit Sampling for fans

- Media Partners for the night are the Power 105.7 and 98.3 The Keg

Sunday, April 19 - Naturals vs. Frisco RoughRiders, 2:05 P.M. (Gates open at 1 P.M.)

- Kids Eat FREE Family Sunday presented by Missouri Department of Tourism

- Kids Eat Free Sunday - Kids 12 and under eat FREE at all Sunday home games during the season. They'll receive a voucher as they enter the gates and it is presented by Tyson Foods, Coca-Cola, Mrs. Baird's, and Cape Cod Chips.

- Family Sunday -Enjoy great activities including kids run the bases after the game, a balloon artist, and more.

- Media Partner is Magic 107.9

Monday, April 20 - Naturals vs. Frisco RoughRiders, 7:05 P.M. (Gates open at 6 P.M.)

- Monday Night Lights presented by Ozarks Electric Cooperative

- Monday Night Lights - Fans who bring their Ozarks Electric bill or Co-op Connections Card to the Arvest Ballpark Box Office can purchase buy one, get one FREE Premium, Reserved, or Jack Link's Jerky Grass Berm tickets.

- Dollar Hot Dogs - Hot dogs available at the concession stands for just $1 each courtesy of Tyson Foods.

- Indigo Sky Casino Baseball Bingo - Grab a bingo card on the way into the ballpark and follow along with the action while the Naturals are at-bat for a chance to win a prize courtesy of Indigo Sky Casino. (Limited number of winners)

Tuesday, April 21 - Naturals vs. Frisco RoughRiders, 11:05 A.M. (Gates open at 10 A.M.)

- SWEPCO SCHOOL KIDS DAY

- SWEPCO School Kids Day- School groups of students, teachers, and chaperones from throughout Northwest Arkansas and surrounding communities receive special ticket discounts to attend School Kids Day at Arvest Ballpark. Teachers also receive an online educational packet to prepare their students for their visit to the ballpark.
