Not content with being a world champion boxer, semi-professional basketball player and senator, Manny Pacquiao can add singer to his list of talents.

The 36-year-old has decided that he will sing his own entrance music for the long-awaited fight with Floyd Mayweather that was agreed earlier this month.

Filipino TV station SAKSI released footage last night that shows Pacquiao - who has a chance at becoming the country's president after he retires, such is his status - singing a song titled “Lalaban ako para sa Pilipino” or “I will fight for the Philippines”, collaborating with composer Lito Camo to make the song.

The lyrics say: "We are going to fight / I am going to fight to the world / Fight for your name / I am Filipino / We are Filipino".

Pacquiao released his debut album 'Laban Nating Lahat Ito' in 2006, while a cover of Sometimes When We Touch reached the US charts in 2011.

Pacquiao is now set to fly to Los Angeles to continue his training ahead of the 2 May showdown.
