FC Tulsa News Release
Tulsa-based Marshall Brewing Company is proud to introduce Roughnecks Pale Ale at ONEOK Field in time for the inaugural 2015 season. Roughnecks Pale Ale will be available beginning Saturday, March 28th and will be offered for the remainder of the season at select locations within ONEOK Field.
Roughnecks Pale Ale will be an American Pale Ale, capable of quenching the thirsty throngs of both new and nostalgic Tulsa soccer fans. The drink will feature a citrus aroma along with the bitterness of Mosaic hops. Roughnecks Ale is a session-able 4.0 ABV.
Marshall Brewing Company began offering beer commercially in May of 2008, ushering in a new era of Tulsa brewing. Employing a production model, Marshall Brewing Company focuses on handcrafting full-strength ales and lagers.
"We are excited to begin a partnership with the Tulsa Roughnecks FC organization. All-Star Wheat and Driller Dunkel have been hugely successful at Drillers baseball games. We look forward to being a part of the growth and revitalization of Tulsa with the proud tradition and culture that is the Tulsa Roughnecks," states Wes Alexander, Marshall Brewing director of sales and marketing.
Marshall's Roughnecks Pale Ale will be available on draft at the following locations inside ONEOK Field:
- Craft Beer Cart located behind the Family Stand
- Margaritaville Cart located behind the Midfield Sections
- Liquor Cart located behind the Endline Sections
Tulsa Roughnecks FC team president Mike Melega is also looking forward to the partnership: "Tulsa Roughnecks FC is proud to partner with Marshall Brewing on Roughnecks Pale Ale and is excited to offer it to Roughnecks fans at ONEOK Field. Roughnecks Pale Ale will make a tremendous addition to the ONEOK Field food and beverage lineup."
The Roughnecks will open the regular season this Saturday, March 28, by hosting the Oklahoma City Energy. Kickoff is slated for 7:00PM. Tickets are available at the ONEOK Field Ticket Office.
