More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was unchanged, the Nasdaq fell 0.1% and the S&P 500 remained flat.

• Church & Dwight Company (CHD): CHD stock is up 0.6%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Mondelez International Inc. Cl A (MDLZ): MDLZ stock is up 0.6% today.

• Newell Rubbermaid Inc (NWL): NWL stock is up 0.6% today.

• Universal Corp (UVV): UVV stock is up 0.6% today.

• J.M. Smucker Company (SJM): SJM stock is up 0.5% today.

• Starbucks Corp (SBUX): SBUX stock is up 0.5% today.

• Gruma S.A. De C.V. (GMK): GMK stock is up 0.5% today.

• Brown Forman Inc A (BF.A): BF.A stock is up 0.5%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has increased.

• Hain Celestial Group (HAIN): HAIN stock is up 0.5% today.

Some of the biggest losers among consumer noncyclical stocks include:

• Pilgrim’s Pride Corp (PPC): PPC stock is down 1.7% today.

• Dean Foods Company (DF): DF stock is down 1.6% today.

• Usana Health Sciences Inc (USNA): USNA stock is down 0.7% today.

• Monster Beverage Corp (MNST): MNST stock is down 0.7% today.

• Kellogg Company (K): K stock is down 0.7% today.

• The Whitewave Foods Company (WWAV): WWAV stock is down 0.7% today.
