Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput, if the grapevine is to be believed, are soon tying the knot. The wedding, which was initially scheduled to take place in December this year, is to take place in June now, in Greece. And before Bollywood gets all set to receive its new bride, we take a look at the latest news concerning the couple-to-be.
A report in the Times of India has revealed that Mira Rajput's friends had recently thrown a bridal shower for the bride-to-be. In a peach off-shoulder gown, Rajput looked quite the cynosure of the evening. The bash took place at Mira's Chattarpur Farms house in the capital.
The place was decorated with the couple's photos, and one among the lot found its way to social media. And ever since this Shahid-and-Mira-in-a-vintage-frame was released online, social networking sites haven't stopped buzzing. And why not, after all, Shahid and his fiancee have never been seen in the same photograph.
On January 14 this year, the Haider actor is supposed to have gotten engaged to Mira, a third year student of Lady Sri Ram College, Delhi. After the news broke out, both Rajput and Kapoor have done their part to remain tight-lipped about the same, keeping prying eyes and too-curious ears as far from them as they have been able to. However, Shahid later confirmed to a select few in the media that he was indeed getting married to Mira.
Now that the bridal shower, too, has been seen through, it is high time Shahid fans embraced themselves for the fact that Bollywood is about to let go of another of its eligible bachelors. Innumerable broken hearts of Shahid-lovers aside, here's wishing the couple a happy married life!
