Indianapolis-based Duke Realty has promoted Steve Schnur to executive vice president of its Midwest Region, the company announced Monday.
In his new position, Schnur will be responsible for the company’s roughly 66 million square feet of industrial and office properties in the Chicago; Cincinnati; Columbus, Ohio; Indianapolis; St. Louis; and Minneapolis markets. Schnur will also be in charge of identifying acquisition and development opportunities, new land positions and build-to-suit prospects.
Schnur previously acted as senior vice president of Duke’s Midwest region. He started with the company in 2003 and vice president of leasing and worked before that as the director of real estate for Opus North.
Schnur is based out of Duke’s Chicago office and is active in such organizations as Chicago NAIOP, SIOR and AIRE.
