Vikings Receiver Charles Johnson Shows Off His Footwork (Video)

You’ve probably seen the video clip that has been going around of Browns WR Andrew Hawkins showing off his fancy footwork.

Well, Andrew Hawkins isn’t the only player out there with speedy feet. Vikings WR Charles Johnson also has some nifty footwork as he has demonstrated in a series of Instagram videos.

The clips, posted to Johnson’s own Instagram account, show the receiver going through a variety of very rigorous-looking footwork drills. Johnson has apparently been working out this offseason with a man named Rischad Whitfield, who is described as an “elite footwork and position coach.”

Whitfield is affiliated with an outfit called Blitz Football that lists NFL stars Le’Veon Bell, Emmanuel Sanders and Jonathan Stewart among its “featured athletes.”

Charles Johnson burst on the scene in surprising fashion for the Vikings in 2014, and judging by these videos, he’s not interested in resting on his laurels.

(Apologies for some of the language in the clips. These were taken directly from Johnson’s Instagram account and the music has some cursing in it.)

Why do I have a feeling receivers showing off their footwork on social media is going to become a thing?

Hey Vikings, how about you get Cordarrelle Patterson to put one of these together and let the fans see the hard work he’s doing this offseason? Just a suggestion.
