The Katy Perry mobile game will soon hit app stores. It will be under Glu Mobile, the same company which launched the "Kim Kardashian: Hollywood" mobile game.

Glu Mobile's CEO Niccolo de Masi explains why they have chosen the "By the Grace of God" songstress.

"Katy is arguably the most recognised musician in America following her Super Bowl XLIX Halftime performance this past Sunday," said de Masi.

"She is a cultural icon and we expect to translate key elements of her success into an innovative, highly entertaining experience." 

The said Katy Perry mobile game will reportedly come out in late 2015 and will feature Perry's "voice, likeness, and personality." The app is also expected to introduce players to a digital playground of global success and talent.

Glu Mobile is hoping that Katy Perry's mobile game will echo the success of the "Kim Kardashian: Hollywood" mobile game, which made $43 million during its first three months. While the game can be played for free, purchases can be made for the virtual Kim's wardrobe. "K stars" can also be purchased to make the game more enjoyable.

"We anticipate that Katy's significant global audience, including more than 170 million fans on social media, will make her a strong gaming partner for Glu," de Masi added.

Katy Perry has a lot to be thankful for because apart from her upcoming mobile game, she likewise got commendation for her recent performance of "By the Grace of God" at the 2015 Grammys. A domestic violence survivor also took time to give a speech, which served as the introduction for Perry's performance.

The "Fireworks" singer's heartfelt performance followed the reports that organizers of the awards night worked hard to keep Taylor Swift and Katy Perry on "opposite sides of the audience" so that they won't cross paths.
