Midstate trading: Dentsply board director sells shares for nearly $1M

Leslie Jones exercised a stock option on 18,000 shares priced at $28 per share on Monday. He then sold those shares at an average price of $55.45, or a total value of $998,080, according to the filing.

Jones owns 94,801 direct shares of the dental products manufacturer. Shares of the company’s stock are traded on the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol XRAY. The stock closed at $54.10 on Wednesday, according to Yahoo Finance.

• Martin Rapp, a senior vice president at York-based P.H. Glatfelter Co., which does business as Glatfelter, sold 17,500 shares at an average price of $25.28 between Friday and Monday, according to an SEC filing. Those shares were worth $442,338.

Last week, Rapp sold 71,459 shares of the specialty paper supplier’s stock. That netted more than $1.8 million. He owns 49,756 direct shares of Glatfelter stock.

She owns 639 direct shares of company stock.

Shares of the bank holding company’s stock are traded on the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol MPB. The stock closed at $15.55 on Wednesday.
