Trinamool Congress said it will not attend the all-party meeting on Sunday convened by parliamentary affairs minister, ahead of beginning of the Winter Session of Parliament beginning on November 24.

All-party meet has been called at short notice on Sunday, why couldn't they call meeting on working day, asked Derek O'Brien.
"Government has pro-MNC agenda. We have pro-people line. Black money, poll reform, communalism, political vendetta, 100-day hoax. Will raise all", he said.
Before the government's initiative to reach out to the Opposition, Lok Sabha speaker Sumita Mahajan also interacted with leaders of all political parties to make sure that they will allow the proceedings to go without disruptions.
The house will have 22 sittings in which 67 bills are slated to be taken up. Nine bills were introduced in the previous session and 40 have been carried over from 15th Lok Sabha under UPA II. The Lok Sabha has 18 pending bills.
