Just days after Estée Lauder announced Kendall Jenner as their newest face, the beauty brand is back with more big news: Today, they're officially joining the shopping app Spring, a mobile marketplace that houses top fashion and beauty brands like Warby Parker, Proenza Schouler, Caudalie, and JINsoon, although Estée Lauder is one of the first major beauty companies to get in on the game.
"We've been closely watching the social shopping space and thought Spring was perfect for Estée Lauder," says Geri Schachner senior vice president of global communications and online editorial director. "It's a blend of influencers, editorial, and commerce that appeals to mobile shoppers who appreciate experiencing products in a lifestyle storytelling context."
For Estée Lauder's first foray into mobile shopping, Jenner is giving us a glimpse into her own beauty routine. They handed the reigns over to their new face and let her curate their first selection of products, which are her ten favorites. Included in Jenner's picks: The Pure Color Envy Lipstick in Carnal because, she says, "It's awesome. It's bright and I love bright. And red is always a good color;" Pure Color Nail in Dark Desire, because "I like to keep my nails really neutral with nudes and grays;" and Sumptuous Extreme Lash Multiplying Volume Mascara simply because, she explains, "I love mascara!"
