TWIN FALLS • Burley author Joann Clark-Jackson will sign copies of her book, “The Adventures of Hodgi Brigman-Secrets in the Shack,” at 1 p.m. Saturday at Barnes & Noble, 1239 Pole Line Road E.
The book is the first in a planned series of mysteries on deception, tragedy, stolen artifacts and the courage of an ordinary young man named Hodgi Brigman.
Brigman accompanies his anthropologist father to Lake Nakuru, Kenya, to look into the 30-year-old murders of six anthropologists and the artifacts stolen.
While taking photos, gathering stones and scouting dusty trails, Hodgi is led to a rundown shack and possibly face-to-face with a killer. The book is available at Barnes & Noble, Amazon and www.tatepublishing.com/bookstore.
Clark-Jackson has written poetry, songs and short-story mysteries for years, says a news release. Her poem “On Eagle’s Wings” was published in Treasured Poems of America. She received a teaching certification through Christian Light Education. Clark-Jackson and her husband, Johnny, live on a mini-farm with their toy Australian Shepherd.
