Man falls in canal following cardiac arrest
A man has fallen into a canal in Oldbury after suffering a cardiac arrest today.

Paramedics were called to a stretch of canal near to Rounds Green Road, Oldbury shortly before 3.05pm.
When ambulance crews arrived they gave the man emergency treatment before taking him to Sandwell District Hospital for further treatment and assessment.
Jamie Arrowsmith, a spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: "On arrival crews quickly began administering emergency medical treatment to a male patient who was found to be in cardiac arrest. Initial reports suggest he had fallen into the water.
"The man was then transported to Sandwell District Hospital for further assessment and treatment."
