Break in your lawn chair because it will come in handy at the upcoming 15th anniversary of Reiff’s Annual Street Bash and Vintage Car Show.

Reiff’s Gas Station Museum is an actual home and yard filled with retro 1950s nostalgia, antiques and car culture in the center of Woodland.

Owner Mark Reiff will be opening his living museum at 52 Jefferson St., from 4 to 11 p.m., Saturday, June 13, for the community to tour, enjoy live music by Retrospect, check out custom cars and bikes and share in a potluck meal. The family-friendly event is free to attend, although donations for the upkeep of the museum are welcome.

Participants are encouraged to wear 50s attire, bring their own lawn chairs, beverages and a dish to share. The street will be closed to traffic. There will also be raffle prizes including Reiff’s own original watercolors, a 13-door gazebo donated by Orchard Supply Hardware, car care kit donated by Napa Auto, dining gift cards from The Buckhorn and Rafael’s, facial gift certificate from Salon Prive, and more. The drawing takes place at 9 p.m., and winners must be present.

To donate a raffle prize, or for more information, contact Reiff by calling 666-1758.

Owners Jennifer and Marco Fuoco are looking at opening their doors sometime in June. Similar to its former tenants, Guinevere’s will serve breakfast and lunch deli style. It will certainly have its own twists, as well as Scandinavian and Italian menu influences. The Democrat will also be providing readers with a full feature on the eatery shortly. Stay tuned.
