Mastech Holdings says profits increased

Mastech Holdings Inc. reported a second quarter profit on Wednesday of $382,000, or 10 cents a share, on higher demand for its information technology staffing services and improving conditions for health care staffing services.

The latest results compare to a $109,000 profit, or 3 cents, a year ago. Robinson-based Mastech's revenue totaled $22.12 million, up 31 percent from a year ago.
