JCHS Photography Students to Exhibit Work at USF Art Gallery

JCHS photography students Noelle Lefever and Mayra Pensado will have their artwork exhibited at University of St. Francis.

Joliet Central High School photography students Noelle Lefever and Mayra Pensado will have their artwork exhibited at the University of St. Francis Art & Design Department Illinois High School Art Competition & Exhibition Gallery.

“The exhibit spans through the University’s gallery and the 3rd and 4th floors of the Art Department and includes over 150 works of art from Illinois high school students,” said USG Gallery Director, Jennifer Moore.

“I encourage students to create their work for the ‘outside world,” said JCHS Photography Instructor Joe Baltz. “To truly become an artist one must share one’s vision, talent and work with others. Artists create a silent community between themselves and the viewers.”
