Crews respond to Boeing Assembly plant for odd smell

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Crews responded to an assembly building at Boeing for an incident that turned out to be just an odd smell.Boeing officials confirmed that crews responded to a Boeing building on International Boulevard. They said an employee turned on a heating unit and panicked when it started emitting a burning smell.

Boeing has their own fire crew that handles situations on site. North Charleston fire crews were also reportedly called out but then released when it turned out to be nothing.
