Lecture honors the work of military horses

The Learn @ Your Library lecture series at the Greenwood Lake Public Library presents “Memorial Day Tribute: Military Horses” with Linda Blake on May 19 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Horses have been beside man during warfare throughout history, not only to carry warriors on the battlefield, but also to pull war supplies, cannons, and ambulances.

Join Linda Blake for a presentation that will honor and remember these faithful, hardworking, selfless companions that served as "four-legged soldiers."
