(Nasdaq:CAR), through the Avis Budget Group Charitable Foundation, continues its tradition of giving by supporting organizations and causes that serve the communities in which the Company operates. In 2014 alone, the Company was able to provide grants to a wide range of organizations, including healthcare research, veterans' advocacy groups, children's welfare and the creative and performing arts.

As a highlight of the Company's 2014 philanthropic efforts, the Foundation matched funds raised by Avis Budget Group employees to benefit the American Cancer Society, the ALS Association and Wounded Warrior Project. In addition, more than 1,000 Avis Budget Group employees worldwide participated in the ALS Association's "Ice Bucket Challenge."

Applications for grants must include documentation of IRS 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, a description of the work performed by the organization, and details of how the Foundation's grant will be recognized.
