NCQA Accreditation Renewed for McKesson VITAL Chronic Condition Management Services

WESTMINSTER, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

McKesson announced today that the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) has awarded it full Patient and Practitioner Oriented Accreditation for its VITAL Chronic Condition Management services. Delivered by McKesson Care Management, the chronic condition and disease management services receiving accreditation from NCQA are asthma, congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, coronary artery disease and diabetes.

McKesson has been delivering successful chronic condition and disease management services for more than 15 years. In 2002, McKesson was among the first organizations to seek and receive accreditation for its program through NCQA. “NCQA's Disease Management Accreditation program is thorough and rigorous.
