(Business in Cameroon) - A precious metals mining company with operations in Europe and Africa, Reservoir Minerals Inc. has allegedly found extensive gold mineralisation in Bibemi, where it is licenced to mine. It has added the Wapouzé riparian licenced area of 364 km2 in northern Cameroon.

On November 18, 2014, the Canadian company listed on the Toronto and Berlin stock exchanges announced its findings in Bibemi after samples were taken in the 2014 dry season, revealing high levels of gold mineralisation reaching 10.95 g/t out of 3.6 m up from 2.6 to 6.2 m.

The result confirms “excellent potential for gold mineralisation close to the surface for 19 km,” stated Simon Ingram, CEO of Reservoir Minerals, the company which has four mining licences in Cameroon and Gabon.

Mr. Ingram also indicated that gold panning revealed potential in the south-east of the licenced area that extends to around 30 km of gold mineralisation in Bibemi.

Prior to this, Reservoir Minerals had found a gold deposit of around 20 km in Bibemi and in which samples taken in 2012 revealed 2.26 g/t in a 10 m area.

The Bibemi permit was transferred in 2012 to Reservoir Minerals Cameroon SARL, a joint venture formed by Cameroon’s Office of Geological, Geotechnical and Geophysical and Mining Studies (BEIG3 SARL) with Reservoir Minerals which has a 90% stake.
