EWING — The California-based department store dd's Discounts will open its first New Jersey location tomorrow in Ewing.
The store, which carries clothing for men, women and children as well as household linens and appliances, will celebrate its grand opening tomorrow morning at 9 at its location on the 1500 block of North Olden Avenue, the company said in a news release.
The discount store will donate $1,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of Mercer County during the event, the release said. In the store’s opening week, customers will have the opportunity to win gift cards to the store, the release said.
Ross Stores Inc. owns dd’s Discounts and while there are no other dd’s in the state, another Ross store, Ross Dress for Less, has 11 locations in New Jersey, including in the Mercer Mall in Lawrence and the Hamilton Market Place in Hamilton.
