Wisdom still streaking

Third baseman Patrick Wisdom got the night off after a 1-for-4 night against Arkansas stretched his hitting streak to nine games.

After a 1-for-23 start to the season, Wisdom has flourished and is hitting .404 (17-of-42) since.

"Everything is just kind of coming together, and I'm just sticking with it," Wisdom said. "I'm staying with my plan and my approach and the process, and things are going well, which definitely helps my confidence."

He is hitting .478 (11-for-23) with four doubles, one triple and one homer in seven games against the Travelers this season.

Tilson leads the way

Charlie Tilson was one of the few bright spots for Springfield on Saturday night, getting halfway to the cycle in a 2-for-4 performance.

The leadoff man doubled and scored on an Alex Mejia double in the first inning, then added a fifth-inning triple. He has five hits in his last four games, hitting .357 over that span.

Ballpark rankings

Baseball America is out with its rankings of the best minor-league ballparks, and the Texas League was well-represented in the top 20 of all levels.

The Tulsa Drillers' ONEOK Field is No. 16 overall, with Dr Pepper Ballpark of the Frisco RoughRiders checking in at No. 18.

In the rankings by league, Tulsa and Frisco are followed by Corpus Christi's Whataburger Field at No. 3, with Hammons Field fourth in the eight-team circuit.

Overall, BB&T Ballpark, home of the Charlotte Knights of the Triple-A International League, is No. 1, followed by the Memphis Redbirds' AutoZone Park.
