El Paso Pipeline Partners Q3 Profit Down

El Paso Pipeline Partners, L.P. (EPB) Wednesday reported third-quarter limited partner's interest in net income of $72 million or $0.31 per share, down from $86 million or $0.40 per share last year.

Revenues for the quarter dropped to $352 million from $369 million last year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.39 per share on revenues of $386.2 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time items.

The company also declared third-quarter cash distribution of $0.65 per share, which is payable on November 14 to unitholders of record as of October 31.
