Tuesday's ETF with Unusual Volume: VSPY

The S&P 500 Volatility Response Shares ETF (VSPY) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Tuesday, with over 237,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 72,000.  Shares of VSPY were off about 0.3% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Tuesday were Bank of America (BAC), trading down about 0.6% with over 44.4 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Apple (AAPL), up about 1.9% on volume of over 39.5 million shares. Tenet Healthcare (THC) is the component faring the best Tuesday, up by about 5.2% on the day, while Avon Products (AVP) is lagging other components of the S&P 500 Volatility Response Shares ETF, trading lower by about 4%.
