Aircastle: Closure Of Purchase, Leaseback Of Four Boeing 777-300ERs With Latam

Aircastle Ltd (AYR) said Monday it completed the first part of an earlier announced $900 million purchase and leaseback deal with Latam Airlines Group S.A. for eight Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.

Aircastle said that together with the four Boeing 777-300ERs acquired thus far in the deal, it purchased a total of eight aircraft with a cost of $715 million during the first quarter of 2014.

Stamford, Connecticut-based Aircastleacquires, leases, and sells commercial jet aircraft to airlines.
