Belo Sun Mining Corp. has strengthened its management team with the addition of Peter Tagliamonte as president and CEO replacing Mark Eaton who has become executive chairman. Joseph Milbourne has joined the company as VP of technical services. Belo Sun is advancing its Volta Grande gold project in Brazil.
Liangyou Jiang is the new senior executive VP of Vancouver-based China Gold International Resources Corp. He replaces Zhanming Wu wo has resigned.
The new COO at Great Panther Silver is Ali Soltani, previously of Newmont Mining and Phelps Dodge. He will be based in the company's head office in Vancouver.
Vancouver's Riverside Resources announced that Dr. Greg Myers has joined the company as VP of exploration. Most recently he worked in Mexico and Nicaragua as president and CEO of Caza Gold. Howard Davies resigned from the position to pursue personal interests.
