ON TOUR: Ann Demeulemeester chose Seoul for the last leg of her book-signing journey, which spanned three continents with prior stops in London, New York, Hong Kong and Tokyo.
Fans dressed in Demeulemeester’s signature monochrome black crowded 10 Corso Como located in Seoul well before her arrival at 6 pm arrival on Tuesday. After she signed copies of her new retrospective tome, the brand hosted a private dinner for VIP customers at the store’s restaurant.
“I really like it here especially the weather. It reminds me of Belgium,” Demeulemeester said of Seoul.
The designer said she was hoping to visit a few museums and galleries to fulfill her interest in Korean ceramics and furniture before she left for Belgium on Wednesday.
“I just wish I wasn’t so busy,” she said.
