Vijender Gupta came near the Speaker's chair and started shouting slogans against his decision to suspend Sharma. The Speaker appealed the MLA to return to his seat but Gupta continued his antics following which marshals were called inside the house to evict the Rohini MLA.

Gupta was also opposing the Kejriwal government's decision to table its version of Janlokpal Bill in the Assembly.

"Kejriwal government's Janlokpal Bill is only a political stunt. This government is not serious over the issue. The BJP is not against the Lokpal Bill but this the bill which is being tabled in the house is not in favour of the residents of Delhi," Gupta told India Today.
