Police in Northern Ireland have made an appeal to reunite the public with a more unusual type of lost property - a drone.

The PSNI in Ards said the drone was located in the Kircubbin area of County Down and was found by a resident in their garden.

They have issued a warning however, "be prepared to describe the drone in detail".

They also want people to bring documentation for proof of ownership.

"The drone is currently in Ards station property store which is open 0800am to 1600pm daily (closed 1200-1300 for lunch)," the PSNI Ards statement adds.
