After accusing the Republican of having had a “Nazi inauguration”, Ms Taylor blasted: “Trump and Spencer are operating out of Hitler’s playbook, only they have nuclear weapons.”

Sunsara Taylor claimed Donald Trump is more dangerous than Hitler

Carlson challenged the angry campaigner if she truly believed the US President was like Hitler, which resulted in Ms Taylor doubling down on her argument.

“Actually he is not like Hitler,” she thundered. “He has a Twitter feed, he has that ugly orange thing on top of his head and he has nuclear weapons, the biggest nuclear arsenal in the world.

“People better wake up because he is more dangerous than Hitler ever could have been. I'm calling for mass political protest and resistance."

Astonished, the Fox News host responded: “I want to take you seriously, I’m assuming you’re being serious as hard as it is to believe when you use rhetoric like he is Hitler, he is going to incinerate the world, how are you going to stop him?”

To which Ms Taylor retorted: “I know you like to carry water for the liar in chief. I know you like to justify and rationalise the sexual predator in chief but I don’t think this is a joke.”

Forcing the issue, a laughing Carlson asked the raging activist explain what she and her group intended to do to drive and his second in command from power.

However, appearing unable to help himself, he took a swipe at the guest as he said: "This is silly. You don't oppose fascism with political resistance. But whatever. You may not know that."

The fiery attack on Goldberg came after she told The View: “We have a leader who’s repeatedly demeaned women, calling on the media to shut up, specifically wants to give preferential treatment based on religion, uh, are these values really much different than the Taliban?”

Outraged by her comments, the political satirist roared: “As they bash the President I’m reminded how entertainers rarely express any rage over any strand of misogynistic Islamism - if they did we may talk their rage towards Trump seriously.

“A reminder, the Taliban throw acid over girl’s faces for going to school,” taking a more sarcastic tone, he continued: “Yeah, I guess that’s the like defunding planned parenthood.

“Radical Islam is all for killing gays and I guess that’s is the same as making some rude jokes.”

Just days after Mr Trump won the US White House race, LBC host , as he said they should “go read some history books”.

He blasted: “Hitler killed 6 million Jews, homosexuals, gypsies - he was a tyrant to his own people.
