Here is what transpired:

1. Indrani Mukerjea reportedly fainted in court during the hearing. She recovered a few minutes later.

2. Her lawyers alleged her rights were being violated and she is being denied access to her kin. They also claimed she was being interrogated for 80-90 hours and even physically assaulted.

3. The government lawyers argued that Indrani may be poisoned and therefore no home food should be allowed to her in custody.

4. Fresh charges of attempt to murder were added to allegations against Indrani while poisoning charges were added against all the three accused.

5. Seeking her bail, Indrani's lawyers said she has bruises on her swollen face. They were allowed to meet her only in police presence. "Not even a single minute was given to us to consult Indrani Mukerjea privately. It is her fundamental right," Indrani's lawyer told the court.

6. The judge ordered the unmasking of all the three accused.

7. Indrani Mukerjea's daughter from Khanna, Vidhie, broke down in court when she saw her mother. Indrani, however, remained stoic as she saw her daughter.

8. Sanjeev Khanna's lawyer says he should be sent to judicial custody now.

9. "Media knows more than investigation team. Only forensic report is awaited so no need for further police custody," Khanna's lawyer said.

10. The government's lawyer said the police may make more arrests in the case.
