Enterprise Products Partners LP Q3 Earnings Drop 6%

Enterprise Products Partners LP (EPD) announced a profit for third quarter that dropped compared to the same period last year.

The company said its earnings fell to $658 million, or $0.32 per share. This was lower than $699 million, or $0.37 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.33 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 48.8% to $6.31 billion. This was down from $12.33 billion last year.
