Big Dutchman participates in the presentation of the American Egg Board

Big Dutchman participated in an American Egg Board presentation, “An Egg’s Journey,” which was shown on the White House’s South Lawn during Easter celebrations.

Big Dutchman sent a small display of a modern aviary nest along with the “Hollywood hens” that Big Dutchman uses in their poultry exhibits at the big trade shows. The display was used to demonstrate to the public where hens live and lay their eggs in a commercial laying barn.

Steve Walcott, the vice president for egg systems for Big Dutchman, explained hen housing and egg production and entertained the young White House egg roll guests and their families.
