Corey Anderson has replaced an injured Nathan Coulter-Nile in the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) squad, it was announced on Saturday. Australian fast bowler Coulter-Nile requires ample rest to recover from his injury, RCB head coach Daniel Vettori explained in a statement.
In accordance with the Player Regulations, RCB was allowed to choose a replacement from the Registered and Available Player Pool (RAPP). The franchise selected New Zealand all-rounder Anderson at his base price of Rs. 2 crore.
Anderson had previously represented Daredevils and Mumbai Indians.
