Kaley Brooke Thompson became the bride of James Curtis Tucker at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 25, in East Union Missionary Baptist Church. Officiating were Paul Roberts and Bill Hilburn.

Sharyla and Stan Thompson of Hensley are the parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Shirley and Edward Cooper and LaJuan and Johnny Thompson, all of Hope.

The groom is the son of Nicki and Dr. Sonny Tucker of Benton and the grandson of Carolyn McAnally and the late Johnny McAnally, both of Arkadelphia, Bettye Kingrey of Branson and the late Jimmy Tucker.

The chancel held a rustic wooden arbor with hydrangeas, wisteria, baby’s breath, roses and curly willow branches. Music was by pianist Sandra Siler of Henderson, Texas, aunt of the bride; Judy Warner of Sheridan on strings; and vocalists Stephanie and Doug Goodman of East End.

The bride, who walked down the aisle with her father, wore a strapless ballgown of ivory taffeta. The ruched bodice had a sweetheart neckline and a belt embellished with Swarovski crystals, pearls, rhinestones and ivory beading. The skirt extended to a cathedral-length train. She carried a bouquet of ivory hydrangeas, baby’s breath and yellow, green and ivory stephanotis.

Bridesmaids were Katie Smith of Bryant, Allie Smith-Barker of Little Rock, Kelsey DuChemin-White of Fayetteville, Gracie Lundstrum of Rogers, Laura Grace Shaddox of North Little Rock, Hannah Pinkerton of Benton and Shannon Talley and Katy Firmin, both of Celina, Texas. They wore knee-length dresses in neutral tones and carried bouquets similar to the bridal bouquet. Flower girls were Alivia Grace White of Fayetteville and Emma Goodman of East End. Ring bearer was Grady Goodman, also of East End.

Groomsmen were Michael Cotten of Haskell; Jon Jacks of Little Rock; Luke Fruchey of Birmingham, Ala.; Jayson Harris of Maumelle; Tanner Trantham of Bauxite; Caleb Cunningham of Plano, Texas; Collin Lingo of Bryant; and Seth Rountree of Rogers. Guests were seated by Brady Thompson of East End, brother of the bride; Nick Siler of Henderson, cousin of the bride; Beau Dagget of Little Rock; and Kyle Baker of Allen, Texas.

A reception in the church’s Life Center followed the ceremony. Tables held tall glass vases of hydrangeas and branches with hanging tea-lights along with lanterns and vases of baby’s breath.

The bride graduated cum laude from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance. She works in property management for Flake & Kelley Commercial.

The groom also graduated cum laude from OBU with a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting. He is working to be a financial adviser through a Merrill Lynch training program.

After a wedding trip to Destin, Fla., the couple will live in Little Rock.
