Quanta Services Inc. (PWR) announced Friday morning that it now expects to report third quarter earnings per share from continuing operations of $0.22 to $0.24, down from prior expectations of 0.34 to $0.40. The consensus estimate is for EPS of $0.45.
Quanta Services gapped open sharply lower Friday and is now down 4.83 at $21.38 on above average volume. The stock is now testing the lows of the year, trading at a month and a half low.
