Michael Kors Holdings (KORS) Is Climbing On Better Than Expected Q1 Profit

Michael Kors Holdings (KORS) reported first quarter EPS of $0.87 Thursday morning, down from $0.91 in the prior year period. Analysts expected EPS of $0.75. The company expects to report second quarter EPS of $0.86 to $0.90 and between $4.40 and $4.50 for the full year 2016. The consensus estimates are for EPS of $0.97 and $4.25.

Michael Kors gapped open higher Thursday and has continued to rise in early trade. Shares are now up 4.12 at $43.60. The stock has climbed to a 3-week high.
