Conor Cummins, the Isle of Man's quickest TT rider, has signed for the Padgetts Honda Racing team for this summer's event.

Cummins, 30, will join New Zealand's 11-time TT winner Bruce Anstey at the Batley-based squad and compete in five races, including the Senior event.

"What Clive Padgett and the team don't know about racing on the Isle of Man isn't worth knowing," Cummins said.

This year's TT will take place from 27 May to 9 June.

Cummins, who has achieved six TT podium finishes, is the eighth fastest rider of all time at the 110 year-old event having posted a lap of 131.767mph.

"Conor's a very talented rider and a great lad and we are proud to have him representing our Motorcycle shop," team boss Clive Padgett said.

"He's had some great results already at the TT and what I particularly like about how he races is his focus and commitment."
