Faster Horses Festival announces plans for its 4th go-round at MIS

JACKSON, MI -- The ever-growing Faster Horses Festival officially announced it will return to Michigan International Speedway in July 2016.

While the lineup for the self-proclaimed "three-day hillbilly sleepover" has not been announced, country music fans can rest easy knowing the event will return July 15-17 at MIS.

This year's festival saw headliners Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley and Florida Georgia Line rock for 40,000 fans over the course of the weekend.

According to a Facebook post, Faster Horses will announce all additional details regarding the lineup, on-sale information and more after the first of the year.

; the second installment hit 25,000, and the attendance grew to 40,000 fans for the 2015 addition. No word yet on official plans for growth, but as Faster Horses said, more will be announced following the new year.
