New York Community Bancorp Inc. Earnings Retreat 4% In Q3

New York Community Bancorp Inc. (NYCB) announced a profit for third quarter that retreated compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $124.62 million, or $0.28 per share. This was down from $129.61 million, or $0.29 per share, in last year's third quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 3.3% to $279.41 million. This was down from $289.03 million last year.
