Lenovo has announced that Pascal Bourguet, previously VP of consumer personal systems and mobility business at HP (NYSE:HPQ), will join the company as EMEA vice president of products and channels in March next year.

Bourguet will be responsible for leading Lenovo's product and channel business in EMEA after leaving rival HP earlier this month.

“Pascal brings a fantastic track record of leadership that I’m looking forward to welcoming to our team in the New Year," EMEA president and senior vice president Lenovo Group, Eric Cador, says. “His experience speaks for itself, but his passion and approach to doing business will be a fantastic addition to our EMEA management team.”

Before becoming the VP of consumer personal systems and mobility business HP, Bourguet held a number of other channel-centric roles including UK & Ireland head of sales for the consumer and commercial indirect channel in HP's Printing and Personal System division and consumer sales manager. Previous to his roles at HP, Bourguet worked at Philips.

He will join Lenovo's leadership team, where he will join UK&I director of SMB and channel, Andy Bass, who stepped into his new role after leaving Toshiba UK in September.
