Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.02%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA), which rose 2.19% or 16.5 points to trade at 768.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (COP:GEN) added 1.01% or 6.0 points to end at 597.5 and Tryg A/S (COP:TRYG) was up 0.85% or 1.1 points to 130.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Carlsberg A/S B (COP:CARLb), which fell 0.69% or 3.5 points to trade at 502.0 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (COP:DANSKE) declined 0.63% or 1.3 points to end at 206.0 and DSV (COP:DSV) was down 0.46% or 1.1 points to 237.6.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 76 to 72 and 7 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 4.80% or 2.17 to $47.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 3.89% or 1.95 to hit $51.99 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.11% or 1.30 to trade at $1132.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.22% to 6.6578, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4636.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.12% at 96.03.
