Ruby Tuesday and LongHorn Update Leadership

Longtime member of the restaurant community becomes concept president for the casual dining chain.

Ruby Tuesday promoted Brett Patterson to the role of concept president. This comes after Todd Burrowes resigned his post as Ruby Tuesday’s concept president and chief operations officer to return to LongHorn Steakhouse to serve as president of the multi-unit concept operated by Darden Restaurants.

Burrowes spent the past two years as concept president for Ruby Tuesday and prior to that he spent more than 10 years in various operations leadership roles at Darden. His background also includes working with Corner Bakery Café and Salt Grass Steakhouse.

Patterson joined Ruby Tuesday two years ago as vice president of operations and was promoted to senior vice president of operations in 2014. Between 1997 and 2013, Patterson served in various roles of increasing responsibility with Darden Restaurants including director of operations for Bahama Breeze, vice president of operations for Longhorn Steakhouse, and senior vice president of operations for Olive Garden. Prior to Darden, he was managing partner of Carrabba’s Italian Grill and an area director with Steak and Ale.
