TULSA – Steve Largent will serve as chairman of the board of B+T Group after an investment by Gladstone Investment Corp. and its affiliate Gladstone Capital Corp.

“This is a great move for our company,” said Chad Tuttle, CEO and founder of B+T Group, an engineering, construction and technical services company specializing in the wireless industry. “We’ve experienced tremendous growth the past several years and this partnership with Gladstone and Steve will help us to continue on that path.”

Largent, a former congressman and University of Tulsa and NFL football player, was president of CTIA, a wireless association, for 10 years.

B+T Group has expanded its offices in the Atlanta area, Phoenix, and Tulsa and added warehouse capacity in Canton, Georgia.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with this talented team at B+T,” said Gladstone Managing Director Kyle Largent, son of Steve Largent. “They’ve built an outstanding business and we look forward to supporting them as they continue to grow.”

B+T Group was advised on the transaction by Bruce Jones and Matthew Bristow, managing directors of ClearRidge, an Oklahoma investment banking and business advisory firm. Securities were offered through M&A Securities Group.

B+T Group was co-founded in 2000 by Tuttle and Dinesh Bhat. B+T Group has 170 employees and six regional offices.
