My husband and I have made several purchases from Bassett in Huntsville and found the sales staff to be professional and helpful. We also like that this store is locally owned and operated. Of our purchases we have a ten year old sofa that is still in great shape, an eight year old mattress and several other pieces we have been very pleased with. oir most recent experience we purchased a bed for our daughter a few months ago...hot pink upolstry. She loves it! Great experiences, great staff!

Nice store with a friendly and knowledgable staff. Almost everything has to be ordered with a 30 day wait. A sofa that was regularly priced at over $1100 was "on sale" in HSV for $900. I purchased the identical Bassett sofa in a store in Northport, AL a few days later for $700 and it was delivered the same day. I asked a HSV salesperson about this and she said they are a "corporate store" and the parent company sets their prices. Also, they charge $100 for delivery within the first 50 miles. But they only deliver Monday through Friday between 8 to 5. Bottom line: too expensive and not customer oriented after the sale. I recommend you go to a locally operated store and get better pricing and service.
