Norwood, Massachusetts-based Toy State has inked a global deal with Warner Bros. Consumer Products to make licensed remote-control vehicles based on the DC Super Friends brand.
Targeting kids three to seven, the vehicle line starring the likes of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman will feature Toy State’s hallmark innovative lights and sounds.
Toy State will distribute the line under its flagship Nikko brand, with products launching at retail mid-2016.
Today’s news comes just a few months after WBCP released new DC Super Friends animated shorts and announced plans to expand its Imaginext play set line from Mattel. WCBP is also expected to name a publishing partner for the brand this year.
