GenDyn receives $9.5 million Stryker contract modification

Deal covers acquisition and engineering for Stryker double V hull production.

WASHINGTON, Sept. 20 (UPI) -- General Dynamics Land Systems has been awarded a $9.5 million U.S. Army contract modification for tooling and engineering in support of the U.S. Army Stryker combat vehicle.

The deal covers acquisition of tooling and non-recurring engineering in support of production of the vehicle's double V-hull engineering change proposal configuration.

Work will be performed in Michigan. The estimated completion date is June 2019.

The Army Contracting Command is the contracting activity.

Stryker is a family of eight-wheeled, armored infantry carrier vehicles.
