MISHAWAKA

Todd McWhirter has been named vice president and investment adviser for wealth management in northern Indiana with The PNC Financial Services Group Inc. He will be responsible for managing complex fiduciary, agency and individual retirement accounts as well as estate planning, banking services and trust for clients in the region. McWhirter received a bachelor's degree in psychology at Indiana University.

SOUTH BEND

1st Source Bank announces the promotion of Pam Green to assistant vice president. She is responsible for regulatory and board reporting, retail mortgage accounting and accounting oversight of subsidiaries. Green received a bachelor's degree in accounting from Ball State University and a master's degree from Indiana University South Bend.

Dr. Marcia Suvelza has joined The Center for Eye-Care Excellence as a staff optometrist. She will see patients at the downtown South Bend location and will continue practicing at Miller Eye Center in LaPorte two days per week.

Jennifer Kasznia of Gibson has been promoted to senior account manager for the surety bonding team. She is responsible for the day-to-day service needs of surety, license and miscellaneous bonds, reviewing contractor job specifications and other service needs as required.

ELKHART

Elkhart Plastics Inc. announces the addition of Bonnie Turner as director of human resources. Turner received a master's degree in counseling and personnel from Western Michigan University and received a doctoral degree in adult and human resources development leadership from the University of Texas at Austin.
