The U.S. Army awarded Northrop Grumman [NOC] a $13.6 million contract modification for non-personal information technology (IT) for the Army Regional Cyber Center-Europe (RCC-E), Fifth Signal Command Theater, the Pentagon said Aug. 17.

The modification is for contract W91RUS-14-D-0002, which originally was planned to provide IT support services for the RCC-E Fifth Signal Command Theater. This includes supporting the Joint Information Environment (JIE) and various enterprise services such as directory services, storage area networking, vulnerability scanning, boundary security services, disaster recovery and continuity of operations (backup) services, and security information and event management services.

The estimated completion date of the modification is July 18, 2016. Fiscal 2015 Army operations and maintenance funds of $6.5 million were obligated at the time of award.
